The Orchard Christian Fellowship was planted in March of 1999 by Pastor Terrell Berry. Sponsors included the North American Mission Board, Immanuel Baptist Church Highland, First Baptist Church Hesperia, First Baptist Church Upland and Little Country Church (Calvary Chapel) Redding.

Small groups, door to door canvassing, direct mail cards and public worship were all used in the strategy of birthing a health congregation. During the first six years the Orchard met for worship at Vail Ranch Middle School and enjoyed consistent growth in its infancy.

In June of 2004 First Baptist Church of Temecula merged with the Orchard. The existing buildings and 6.2 Acers of property owned by FBC were given to the Orchard. The membership of FBC was assimilated into the Orchard's on-going ministry.

The new vibrant church remodeled and redesigned the entire property and facilities at 42101 Moraga Road Campus. This accommodated a larger congregation and provided a home base for future ministry in an atmosphere of excellence.

The Orchard is preparing to build a new worship center by 2007. Currently two Sunday morning services are offered at 8:30am and 10:30am that provide opportunities for both service and growth.
