Project Description
Do you know the WAY?
Jesus teaches us the way to eternal life in Heaven is narrow and not many will find it. (Mat. 7:13-14) God has given all of us the freedom to believe anything we want to believe but contrary to cultural ideas, not all roads lead to Heaven. Only those who repent of their sins by accepting and following Jesus are saved from their sins and the consequence of Hell. (John 14:6) Our responsibility for following Jesus as “the way” does not end with our own salvation. There are 7.125 billion people on Earth and only 2.2 billion claim to know Jesus. Christians have the responsibility of showing others the way! (Mat. 28:18-20)
Do you know TRUTH?
Those who know truth recognize lies! (John 10:27) Jesus tells us to beware of false prophets! (Mat. 7:15) False prophets are often people who claim to have directly received special prophecies from God but all those who teach anything contrary to the Bible are false prophets. This includes all those who teach any of the world’s religions, modify the Bible to their own agenda, add to the Bible, or teach the Bible inappropriately. False prophets do not only assault truth by teaching lies but also by making claims that many biblical truths are not truths at all.
Do you know your LIFE?
We will know false prophets by examining the fruit of their lives. (Mat. 7:16-20) Teachers of Jesus reflect His truths through their lives and teaching. We should always examine the fruit of those who teach us, but we should also constantly examine the fruit of our own lives to know what we are teaching. If we know Jesus, our lives will reflect that as we develop good spiritual fruit, (Gal. 5:22-23) put sin to death, (Col. 3:5) and live out the Bible through our lives.
Does God know YOU?
The most terrifying truth in the Bible is that many people thinking they knew Jesus will stand before God and be told that God never knew them. (Mat. 7:21-23) Knowing God is not a guessing game. We can be sure we know God when we have a relationship with Jesus which is reflected through our following of His will and the transformation of our lives as we become more like Him!
